2024-25 - Sophomore:
Shepherd played in 23 games off the bench for Delaware State, averaging 1.4 points and 0.7 rebounds per game. He logged season-highs of 11 points, three assists, and two blocks in a game against Virginia-Lynchburg. Over the season, Shepherd contributed as a defensive role player providing energy and depth to the Hornets rotation. His contributions extended beyond the game, evidenced by his Academic All-MEAC honors for excellence both on the court and in the classroom.
2023-24 - Freshman:
In his true freshman season, Shepherd appeared in 30 games with one start, averaging 2.4 points and one rebound in 9.6 minutes per game. He had a season-best scoring outing of 13 points against Bethune-Cookman.

High School: Shepherd was a dominant presence for Tower Hill High School, averaging 22.6 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.6 steals per game as a senior. He played a key role in leading Tower Hill to a state championship and was honored as Delaware’s Gatorade Boys Basketball Player of the Year, reflecting his dominance on both ends of the floor and strong leadership.
