Ryan joined the Delaware State women’s lacrosse coaching staff in October 2019. Prior to her appointment, she was employed by Athletes in Sports Training Performance and Premier Physical Therapy.

Ryan was also a coach with NXT Lacrosse and Ultimate Lacrosse in Pennsylvania.

As a collegian, Ryan was a lacrosse standout at Div. I Monmouth (N.J.) She was an All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Second Team selection and named to the MAAC All-Tournament Team as a senior in 2018, as well as a team MVP nominee.

Ryan received a bachelor’s in Health and Physical Education from Monmouth in 2018. She is currently enrolled in the Delaware State University Sports Management master’s program.

Before deciding to coach at the college level Kate was working with athletes in sports performance training and at premier physical therapy. She coached for NXT lacrosse club and Ultimate lacrosse club in PA. Kate played Division I lacrosse while earning her Bachelor’s degree in Health and Psychical Education at Monmouth University. During her senior campaign in 2018, She was nominated team MVP, All MAAC Second team and MAAC All-Tournament team. During her time as a collegiate athlete, competing at the highest level, she was able to overcome many challenges. Kate believes if you set goals, work hard and push yourself anything can be accomplished. Kate is currently enrolled in the Sports Management master’s program at DSU.
