Jariah Johnson comes to Delaware State University from Monroe College-Bronx, where she was the assistant coach and recruiting coach for three years.
While there, Monroe College-Bronx was back-to-back NJCAA Regional Champions and back-to-back national tournament appearances in 2021-23.
Johnson is a former AAU basketball coach for the New York Gauchos program.
A native of New York City, Johnson was a two-year member of the Keuka College women’s basketball team. She averaged 12.2 points and 9.4 rebounds in her senior season. Johnson was named to the All-Conference Second Team.
Johnson graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management with a Sports Management Concentration at Keuka College in 2019. She is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Sports Administration.
