2023: Joined Hornets in the spring after previously attending Lafayette of the FCS Patriot League
 
2022: Played in eight games with one start in his final season...carried the ball 86 times for 332 yards and two touchdowns...managed 19 carries for a career-best 133 yards against No. 6 Holy Cross (10/22)...had a season-high 22 carries for 83 yards with a touchdown at Colgate (11/5)...one of 46 Lafayette selections to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll after securing a 3.25 semester GPA.
 
2021 Fall: Played in nine games with three starts at running back, earning All-Patriot League Second-Team status...finished season with 90 carries for 398 yards and three touchdowns to go along with five catches for 54 yards...his third-quarter touchdown set the stage for the game-winning, fourth-quarter field goal in a 24-23 win at Georgetown (10/30)...carried 18 times for a season-best 113 yards and a 40-yard touchdown vs. Colgate (11/13)...managed 70 yards on 18 carries, including a one-yard run that capped an 15-play scoring march at Lehigh (11/20).
 
2021 Spring: Played in all three games and led the team in rushing with 27 carries for 107 yards and a touchdown...earned All-Patriot League Second-Team honors...started season with 27 carries for 90 yards and a touchdown in a win over Colgate (3/13)...caught a pass for nine yards at Bucknell (3/27).
 
2019: Played in 12 games, seeing time in the offensive backfield, and on special teams as a returner...finished third on the team in rushing with 72 carries for 273 yards and a touchdown...had nine catches for 66 yards...returned two kickoffs for an average of 24.5 yards...had a breakout game at Georgetown (10/19), carrying four times for 100 yards, including an 86-yard touchdown run...caught two passes for 27 yards and added in 57 rushing yards in a win over Bucknell (10/26)...28-yard kick-off return in the fourth quarter vs. Lehigh (11/23) set up the game-winning field goal in a 17-16 win in Rivalry 155...one of 31 Leopards named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, holding a 3.47 semester GPA.
 
At Glenn HS: All-conference selection who played running back, quarterback and kick returner…finished senior year with 1,400 rushing yards, 18 rushing touchdowns and seven passing scores…all-state, all-county and all-conference honoree in track and field as a sprinter…honor roll student who was also the senior class president…member of the National Honor Society and National Technical Honor Society…served as president of Kernersville Cares for Kids...served as a mentor for disabled.
 
Personal: Son of Marcus and Deborah Sutton…father ran track and field at South Carolina…has an older brother, Khiry, who was Jaden’s running backs coach in high school and played football at Wake Forest…has a younger brother, Brandon…born 10/24/00.
