NORFOLK, VA -- Delaware St. got a pair of goals from Trinity Surowiec in a 2-2 tie against Hampton Sunday (Sept. 7) on the road at Powhatan Field.

Delaware St. moved to 2-3-1 on the season following the tie.

How it Happened

Delaware St. grabbed a 1-0 lead when Surowiec scored her second goal of the season in the seventh minute, assisted by Colleen Udoh.

The Lady Pirates responded to tie the game on a goal from Caitlyn Peace in the 11th minute, assisted by Nylah Jennings.

Delaware St. then took a 2-1 lead on Surowiec's 12th-minute goal, her second of the season.

The Lady Pirates rallied to knot things up at 2-2 with a 39th-minute goal from Makayla Wade. The score finished off the 2-2 match.
