DOVER, DE -- Delaware St. fell 2-1 at home to LIU Sunday (Sept. 21) at Scott D. Miller Stadium.

Delaware St. dropped to 2-6-2 overall and 0-2-0 in DI Independent action with the defeat.

How it Happened

Delaware St. broke the scoreless tie when Alyssa Peregrino scored her first goal of the season in the 10th minute.

The Sharks evened the game on a goal from Brooklyn Menard in the 43rd minute, assisted by Betty Hall.

LIU then busted up the 1-1 tie on Flavie Boulanger's 46th-minute goal. The score closed the 2-1 game.
