DOVER, DE. --K. Rodriguez and K. Reynolds combined to throw a shutout on Sunday as the Delaware State Hornets blanked the Coppin State Eagles 8-0.
Rodriguez (3-2) started and picked up the win for Delaware State (13-11, 5-1), going five shutout innings while giving up six hits, walking two, and striking out six. Reynolds was dealing out of the bullpen as well, going one shutout inning without allowing a hit, walking one and striking out one.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Hornets took the lead for good in the first, scoring for the first time in the inning. Delaware State got an RBI single from K. Cain, scoring N. Reed from second base.
The Hornets then tacked on runs in four more innings, with their biggest output coming in the third when they scored three times.
