GAME 1 | Bucknell 5, Delaware State 1
DOVER, De --The Delaware State Hornets fell 5-1 in an eight-inning matchup to the Bucknell Bison Sunday.
Freshman Rhyannon Stanley (0-1) got the ball to start for Delaware State (3-1) and took the loss.
At the plate, the Hornets were paced by junior Emma Crowe, who went 3-for-3 on the day with a home run and an RBI.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Hornets were trailing 5-0 in the fifth inning when they first put runs on the board. Crowe put Delaware State on the board with a leadoff home run off sophomore Zimmerman. The Hornets were unable to get any closer, as neither team scored again in the ballgame.

, --The Delaware State Hornets were not able to notch a run against Bucknell pitcher senior Roukey on Sunday despite recording seven hits and were shut out 5-0 by the Bison.
Sophomore Kristin White (0-0) started and took the loss in the circle for Delaware State (3-2, ). Sophomore Khyliah Reynolds was a bright spot out of the bullpen, going two shutout innings without allowing a hit, walking one and striking out one.
In the batter's box, the Hornets were led by freshman Zaelyn Harding, who went 2-for-3 on the day with a double. Junior Emma Crowe put together a noteworthy effort as well, going 1-for-3 with a double.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Delaware State managed one chance with runners on third in the shutout, going a total of 1-for-9 with runners in scoring position. The Hornets last got a runner on third in the second, when Crowe made it 60 feet away from scoring with one out.
