Hornets Walk Off Bucknell 2-1 in 10 innings

DOVER, DE --The Delaware State Hornets needed 10 innings to get the job done, but secured the 2-1 extra-innings win, walking it off on Bucknell's error with junior K. Evans at the plate to claim victory over the Bucknell Bison Saturday.

Freshman A. Fonollosa (1-0) picked up the victory out of the bullpen for Delaware State (3-0). The right-hander went three shutout innings while giving up one hit, allowing no walks and striking out one. Sophomore K. White also made an impact in the circle for the Hornets, starting the ballgame and throwing seven innings, giving up one run on three hits, with five walks and four strikeouts.
