Yorktown, VA — The Delaware State University women's wrestling faced nationally ranked #7 Presbyterian College in the Throwdown on the Yorktown showcase, falling 6-40. Despite the lost, the dual featured competitive efforts from multiple Hornets against a top-10 opponent.

Freshman Louise Juitt secured DSU's lone victory of the dual with a 4–4 decision win at 145 pounds. Juliana Diaz, ranked No. 9 nationally, wrestled a close match against No. 5 Alyssa Mahan, falling by decision 3–7 at 124. The remaining bouts featured competitive exchanges but ultimately favored Presbyterian.
