The DSU Hornet Women's Cross Country team competed at the national elite Paul Short Cross Country Invitational in the Pennsylvania hills. 

Sophomore Mileah Cotton led the Hornet women at the Paul Short Invitational in hilly Pennsylvania.  Cotton covered the 6k course in (23:46).  

Other runners competing were Ilianna Surowiec, Leilani Gibson and Anezka Seifertova.
