NEWARK, Del. – The Delaware State men's track and field program continued the Outdoor season competing at the University of Delaware Invitational on Saturday, April 6. The Invite was highlighted by three first-place finishes.

On the men's side, Alonzo Sims Jr. finished first in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 57.14. Jeremy Gyan, Tyrell Martin, and Emperor Campbell took care of business in the field, all collecting first-place finishes.
Gyan took first in the pole vault with a jump of 3.65 meters. Martin placed first in the shot put with a throw of 15.31 meters. Campbell wrapped up the first-place finishes with a 46.91-meter throw in the discus.
