DOVER – The Delaware State men's track and field program continued the Outdoor season hosting the Delaware State Invitational on Saturday, April 13. The Invite was highlighted by eight first-place finishes.
Final Results
On the men's side, Jalen Booth-Mitchell took first in the 100 and 200-meter dash. Booth-Mitchell ran a 10.44 in the 100 and a 20.82 in the 200. Jaden Shelton had dual first-place finishes, running a 14.19 in the 110 hurdles and throwing 48.52 meters in the Javelin.
The men's 4x400 relay (Jalen Booth-Mitchell, Elijah Brown, Nathanael Brown, Alonzo Sims Jr.) finished first with a time of 3:22.01.
Jeremy Gyan and Tyrell Martin handled business in the field, collecting first-place finishes. Gyan jumped 3.96 meters in the pole vault. Martin threw 15.75 meters in the shot put.
