SMYRNA, DE – The Delaware State University men's and women's cross-country teams recorded first-place finishes in the team standings in the DSU Farm Invitational at the Delaware State Outreach Center. 

Delaware State women had six runners finish in the Top 10. Ashley Lagat 1st place, 20:25.4) joined Purity Kattam (2nd place, 20:52.5), Sabreeya Travis (6th place, 21:22.5) Ava Larkin (7th place, 21:28.9), Leila Garraud (8th place 21:40.0), and Layla James (10th place 22:01.5) in the Top 10. 

Delaware State men (8K) had third runners finish in the Top 10. Marian Drazan (1st place, 16:02.6) joined Devin Smith (2nd place, 16:29.3), and Jonathan Drew (7th place, 16:48.4) in the Top 10.

Delaware State will return to action on Saturday, September 23, when the Hornets travel to the University of Maryland Eastern Shores.
