Dover, Del. (May 16, 2023) – Online ticket sales for the 2023 Delaware State University Athletics Hall of Fame Banquet and Induction Ceremony are now open. The event is set for Sep. 1 at the Martin Luther King Jr. Student Center on the Delaware State campus. In addition to individual tickets and tables for 10, program advertising sales are also available online.

The 2023 hall of fame class will also be recognized at halftime of the Hornets'  football contest against Bowie State University on Sep. 2 at Alumni Stadium.

2023 Delaware State University Athletics Hall-of-Fame Inductees: Eldridge Comer (Football), Najmah Fauntleroy (Women's Basketball); Dr. Wilma Mishoe (Administration / Contributor), Leslie Murray (Men's Track & Field), Nicole Gazzola (Softball), Kelly Williams  (Posthumous; Baseball), Joel Coppadge (Contributor), Elmore Briggs (Baseball), Walter Samuel  (Football), Jazmyne Hefflefinger (Bowling), Norman Oliver (Contributor), Donald Robinson (Football), Kendall Gray (Men's Basketball) and Odell Jones (posthumous; football).
