Dover, Del. (Apr. 20, 2023) --- Lindenwood used a dominant second half performance to key its 17-6 ASUN women's lacrosse victory over Delaware State this evening. The Hornets only trailed by four at the half, but was outscored 9-2 in the final 30 minutes to fall to 2-12 overall and 0-5 in the ASUN. The Lions improved to 8-7 and 3-2. Logann Eldredge topped all players with five goals, while Meredith Parry added three to lead the Lions.

Ebony Reddick scored two goals each to top the Hornets' scoresheet.
Lindenwood led 2-0 before the Hornets got on the board on Reddick's first goal with 6:59 left in the opening period. Delaware State only trailed 5-3 after a goal by
Gwenna Gentle at the 13-minute mark of the second period, but trailed 8-4 at the break. Eldredge tallied three goals in the first half for the Lions.
Lindenwood won the third period 5-0, and outscored the Hornets 4-2 in the fourth.
Delaware State will return to action with an ASUN contest at tome against Kennesaw State on Saturday (Apr. 22). Start time is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. at Drass Field on the DSU Downtown Campus.
