DOVER, Del. --- The Delaware State baseball team lost its first-ever Northeast Conference (NEC) contest to Merrimack College, 19-6 on Friday.

The offensive efforts were paced by first baseman
Krew Bouldin who was a perfect 5-for-5 at the plate while catcher
Robert Trujillo drove in a team-best four RBIs highlighted by his first round-tripper of the season that he recorded in the bottom of the eighth inning.

Chris Amparo also notched a multi-hit day at the plate while also driving in a run.

Delaware State will look to even the series tomorrow when these two teams meet again at Bob Reed Field. First pitch is currently scheduled for 1 p.m.
