DOVER, Del. --- The Delaware State women's basketball team will host Howard University and then travel to Norfolk State in the upcoming slate of Mid-Eastern Athletic (MEAC) contests.
 
Delaware State will return home with hopes of snapping its two-game skid and getting back into the win column. Freshman guard Savannah Brooks has been leading the Hornets offensively with 9.8 points per game and has notched nine games this year with 10 or more points.
 
Defensively, Jessica Martino has asserted herself as one of the top rebounders in the league. Her average of 6.1 rebounds per game currently ranks her eighth in the MEAC in said category.
 
Howard comes to Memorial Hall having won the previous three MEAC matchups with plans of extending that streak to four. The Bison will count on junior guard Destiny Howell to continue leading the offense as she has the past three games leading the team with 21 points per game over the course of those three games.
 
Defensively, Howard will turn to senior forward Brooklyn Fort-Davis who has totaled 19 rebounds in three games, 15 of which have come on the defensive end.
 
The Bison have claimed 12 straight wins in the series looking for number 13 while the Hornets are aiming to capture their first win in this matchup since the 2015-16 season.
 
As for Norfolk State, the Spartans have plenty of options on offense as Deja Francis (11.7), Camille Downs (11.2) and Kierra Wheeler (10.2) are all recording double-digits points per game averages.
 
Norfolk State have won five in a row looking to extend the streak to six with Delaware State on the hunt for a win in the series for the first time since 2018-19.
 
Delaware State and Howard will tip off from Memorial Hall on Saturday at 2 p.m. The Hornets will square off with the Spartans on Monday at Joseph G. Echols Memorial Hall at 5:30 p.m. Live coverage links for both games are below.
