DOVER, DE -- Delaware St. came up short against Wagner 1-0 Thursday (Oct. 12) at home at Drass Field.
Delaware St. fell to 0-11-1 overall and 0-6-1 in DI NEC play after the loss.
How it Happened
After the Seahawks took a 1-0 lead into halftime, Delaware St. kept Wagner scoreless the rest of the way. Ashley Maribo led Delaware State with 15 saves. The Hornets registered six shots in the loss, four of them on goal. Delaware State faced 32 Wagner shots, 16 of them on goal.
Delaware State returns to action Sunday, October 15 traveling to Stonehill College. Kickoff from North Easton, Massschusetts is currently scheduled for 11 a.m.
