Bethlehem, Pa. --- The Delaware State men's cross country team took part in the 48th annual Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University.
 
As a team, Delaware State placed 26th overall in the Men's College White Race – 8000 Meters section of the Paul Short Run. The Hornets clocked a total time of 2:17:54, averaging 27:34 per finish.
 
Devin Smith was Delaware State's top finisher as he placed 21st with a final time of 25:40.7.
 
Jose Rivera-Yetter ran a time of 26:38.6 to finish 71st while Bryant Adams, Jr. ran a 28:03.3 to place 184th.
 
Ezekiel Dawkins clocked a 28:18.2 to finish 199th with Michael Rodriguez who crossed the finish line in 246th place after running a 29:13.9 to round out the Hornet runners.
 
Delaware State returns to action next Friday, October 7 when the Hornets host the Farm Invite.
