PRINCESS ANNE, Md. --- The Delaware State University women's basketball team finished its 2021-22 regular season with a 66-48 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) loss to the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) Hawks.
 
Junior guard Alexis Moragne paced the Hornets offensively with a season-high 23 points, which was also a game-high. Moragne shot 7-of-15 from the field including three-of-four from beyond the arc. She made six of her free throws and hauled in five rebounds.
 
Breazia Robinson chipped in with eight points and a team-high seven rebounds in the loss.
 
Delaware State now awaits for who it will be matched up against in the MEAC Tournament scheduled for next week.
