NEWARK, Del. --- The Delaware State men's cross country team capped off its 2022 regular season at the Delaware Invitational hosted by University of Delaware on Saturday.

As a team, the Hornets finished fourth overall with an average time of 30:59.02 per finish.

Delaware State was led by sophomore standout Devin Smith who claimed his third top-five finish after placing third with a time 27:29.78.

Ezekiel Dawkins clinched a top-10 finish after coming in eighth overall with a final time of 28:53.81.

Rounding out the Hornet runners were Tyler Blandin who finished 27th with a time of 32:02.12, Dyson Coley who clocked a time of 33:11.08 to come in 39th and Nathanael Guy who was right behind him with a time of 33:18.33.

Delaware State will compete again in two weeks in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Championship race.
