DOVER, Del. --- The Delaware State University women's basketball found itself on the short end of a 53-48 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) contest against South Carolina State University on Monday night.

Junior guard
Alexis Moragne posted a personal career-high 19 points on 6-of-20 shooting from the field including a team-best two three-pointers. Her 19 points led all scorers and she was a perfect five-for-five from the free throw line. Moragne also added five rebounds, three steals and two blocks to her performance.

Unique Miller notched another personal career achievement to her young resume in tonight's contest. Miller tallied her first career double-double by way of 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Redshirt-senior guard
Janasia Law was one rebound shy of a double-double of her own as she chipped in with 12 points and nine rebounds. Law dished out a game-high seven assists, handed out a block and came away with a steal.

Delaware State will be back in MEAC action on Saturday when the Hornets travel to Baltimore, Maryland to take on the Morgan State Bears. Tipoff from the Hill Field House is currently scheduled for 2 p.m.
