VISITING HORNETS FALL TO MANHATTAN

BRONX, New York – The Delaware State University Hornets women's soccer team fell on the road to the Manhattan Jaspers 3-0 today.
Kiarah Jones (Harrisburg, Pa.) recorded the lone Delaware State shot on goal. Lexis Henry (Bronx, New York), Nicole Drapluk (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) and Megan Rigsby (Camden, Del.) all accounted for a shot in the loss.
Eriona Shabani (Bowling Green, Ky. / Columbia State CC (Tenn.)) tallied eight saves during her time in net.
The Hornets will complete their two-game New York road trip on Thursday when they take on Iona College. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
