Lynchburg, Va. (Mar. 26, 2021) --- Sixteen players scored at least once in Liberty's 24-2 victory over visiting Delaware State in a women's lacrosse contest Friday.
Brooke Bryan led the Flames with three goals and four points, while six others scored twice.
Liberty scored five goals in the first five minutes and led 17-0 at the half.
The Flames were ahead 23-0 before
Emily Campanelli scored back to back goal to get Delaware State on the board. The goals were the first of the season for Campanelli. Rosella Nardi and
Tamrin Swann each recorded an assist for the Hornets.
Delaware State will play its next four games at home, beginning with visits by Mercer on Thur. (Apr. 1) and Kennessaw State on Sat. (Apr. 3).Â
