The Game
Delaware State looks for a two-game home sweep of Coppin State in a contest that was originally scheduled for Feb. 7, but postponed due to last weekend's winter storm. The Hornets won Saturday's game 68-55 behind the performance of forward Kianna Coomber, who recorded a double-double with game-highs of 18 points and 13 rebounds. Coomber was 7-for-15 from the field and perfect on four free throws. She also had a game-high four steals in the game. Sha Collins added 14 points and
DeMaurea Moore 10 in Saturday's contest. Â For the season,
Sha Collins (sr.) is DSU's top scorer at 8.7 points per game. Coomber has climbed to second on the Lady Hornets with a 7.4 ppg average. She's a also on the club in rebounding at 6.1 per game. Newcomer
Daije Harris (sr.) is in third place on the team in scoring at 6.8 points per game.
Janasia Law (sr.) is having a good  all-around season, averaging  6.6 ppg, while leading the team in assists t tops in assists (29), ranking fourth in rebounding (4.6 pg) and tied for third  in three-point field goals (7). Forward
Zoe Holmes (sr.), who has sat out the last three contests, averages 6.3 points and is the No. 11 rebounder in the MEAC at 6.3 per game.       Â
