Delaware State is looking for its second win in a row after defeating Lancaster Bible 81-80 in its last out on Feb. 3. The Hornets trailed by seven points with less than three minutes to play before rallying to win their first game of the season. DSU scored the winning basket on a driving lay-up by Pinky Wiley (sr.) to pull ahead 81-80 with 21 seconds left in the game. Delaware State's Myles Carter (sr.) led all players with 21 points on 10-for-14 shooting from the field, including a three-pointer (1-2). Carter has reached double figures in scoring in the last eight games, and 10 of the 11 contests in which he has appeared this season. The performance raised his team-high scoring average to 15.7 points per game this season to rank sixth in the MEAC. Wiley added 17 points and a game-high five assists, while Zach Kent contributed 11 points, two blocks and seven rebounds in the last outing. Wiley is also having another fine all-around season. Wiley ranks 11th in the MEAC in scoring at 12.9 points per game. He's also sixth in the league in assists at 3.8 per game (45 total). In addition, Wiley is fourth in the league in three-point field goals at 2.4 per game (29), highlighted by a career-best seven vs. Norfolk State on Jan. 17. He has nailed at least one three-pointer in 22 straight games, dating back to the 2019-20 season.

Morgan State has won four straight and five of its last six games. The Bears are coming off back-to-back MEAC North victories over Coppin State last weekend, winning 79-76 in the opener and 95-82 in the second game. Morgan State features two of the league's top five scorers. Troy Baxter is the team leader and second in the MEAC in scoring at 16.9 points per game. De'Torrian Ware is second on the Bears and fifth in the league with a 15.8 point per game average.
