Miller sets career record at Fairleigh Dickinson

HACKENSACK, N.J. --- The Delaware State University women's basketball team fell short on the road to the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights 71-45 on Tuesday.
 
Freshman center Unique Miller grabbed a career-high 18 rebounds, the most by a Hornet since NaJai Pollard when she did so back on January 16, 2017 against Norfolk State. She also added six points and a steal on the night.
 
Joy Watkins and Alexis Moragne paced the offensive efforts with 12 and 10 points respectively. Watkins also recorded a pair of assists and steals in the loss, while Moragne hauled in five rebounds during her performance.
 
Delaware State will be back in action on Sunday at Rutgers. Tipoff is currently scheduled for 2 p.m.
