Hornet seniors honored before double overtime battle with Bulldogs

DOVER, Del. – The Delaware State University women's soccer team honored the senior members of the program with an on-field ceremony before its competition with South Carolina State University on Sunday.
 
After coming out of the halftime break trailing, senior midfielder Jada Lee (Columbia, Maryland/) tied the game at one in the 58th minute.
 
Delaware State and South Carolina State would draw at one upon completion of two overtime periods.
 
The Hornets concluded the 2021 season with a final record of 3-11-1.
