Todd Riedel heads the Delaware State Athletics Department's Strength & Conditioning program. Riedel joined the Hornets after serving as a Strength and Conditioning Administrative Intern for Football and Olympic Sports at The Ohio State University.
He was a national coach-of-the-year finalist in 2011 during a three-year stint as Director of Strength and Conditioning at Wofford College (S.C.) in 2011. During his tenure, the Terrier football team posted 27 wins, won two conference championships and made three national playoff appearances and 3 cognitive years of post season play in Basketball.
From August 2015 to August 2016, Riedel was Assistant Strength Coach at SMU (Dallas Tex.), working with the Mustangs' football, men's soccer, volleyball and track and field teams.
Riedel recently discussed progress in the weight room by the Hornets' nearly 450 student-athletes since returning to campus in August after five months away due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
