Dover, Del. (Feb.11) --- NaJai Pollard breaks the school record for most points in a single career, passing Shervon Hunter (1988-92) as the Lady Hornets all-time points leader. Pollard entered the game needing just 13 points to surpass Hunter, who posted 1,846 career points, as the previous No. 1 on the list.  She tied the record in the first quarter vs. North Carolina Central after converting on a three-point play with 8:08 remaining. She received an outlet pass by Shonnyvelle Regalado and scored over three defenders on the fast break to break the record with 7:41 remaining in the second quarter.

The senior from Richmond, Virginia ended the game with 27 points and now stands alone on top of the list with 1,861 career points.     

Pollard now owns the school record for most points and most blocks in a career. She is also third on the all-time rebounds list.
