The Game
Delaware State (4-7) wraps up a three-game road swing with a visit to Boston College of the Atlantic Coast Conference. It's also the team's next-to-last non-conference game this season. The Lady Hornets have dropped two straight and six of their last seven games, including an 83-64 loss to James Madison this past Tuesday. Janasia Law and Lyric Turner led DSU with 13 points each, while Sharajah Collins added 11 and Miajah Bullock 10  in the contest. Zoe Holmes and Alexis Moragne led the Lady Hornets with six rebounds each vs. JMU. For the season, Collins is tops on the team and fifth in the MEAC in scoring at 13.5 points per game. She is also a two-time MEAC Co-Player of the Week this season. Turner is second on the Lady Hornets with a 12.2 point per game average to rank 11th in the MEAC. She also has a team-high 27 three-point field goals, ranking third in the league in three-pointers per game (2.5). Turner nailed a career-high six three-pointers en route to a 26-point performance vs. William & Mary on Nov. 30. The Lady Hornets have played the last three games without center Tierra Floyd (gr.), a transfer from Xavier (OH), who is battling a foot injury. Floyd has played in just four of the team's 11 games this season.    
 
Boston College (6-5) is coming off an 88-57 win over Boston University last Sunday. Six Eagles scored in double-figures in game, led by Marnelle Garraud and Taylor Soule with 15 points each. Soule also grabbed a team-high seven rebounds in the game. Makayla Dickens and Milan Bolden-Morris tallied 12 points each in the Boston U. contest. The Eagles held a big rebounding edge, 46-28, in the game.  For the season, Cameron Swartz is the team's top scorer at 12.4 points per game, while Soule is a close second at 12.1 ppg. Emma Guy is the Eagles' top rebounder at 5.9 per game and third leading scorer at 10.7 points per game.                  
 
DSU vs Boston College
This will be the first meeting between the teams. This will be DSU's first contest against an Atlantic Coast Conference opponent since an 88-48 loss to Virginia Tech on Dec. 30, 2016.
