THE GAME
Delaware State takes on long-time rival Morgan State for its annual homecoming contest. The Hornets have dropped their last five games to fall to 2-5 overall and 0-4 in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. DSU has been idle since a 42-24 loss at North Carolina A&T on Oct. 15. Morgan State brings a two-game win streak into the contest. The Bears improved to 4-3 overall and 3-2 in the MEAC after a 52-3 victory over North Carolina Central in their last outing on Oct. 15 

THE SERIES 
This is the 55th meeting between the Hornets and Bears. It is Delaware State's second oldest rivalry (66 games vs. Howard). Morgan State has won two of the last three games to open up a 31-23 lead in the series. The Bears won last year's contest 34-24 in Baltimore, Md. Delaware State trailed 21-7 before storming back to take a 24-21 lead. The Hornets outgained the Bears 389-382,  but lost the turnover battle six-to-three. The last time the teams met at Delaware  State, the Hornets posted a 35-22 victory in 2009. DSU has won its last three home games against Morgan State.
