Dover, DE-The Lady Hornets volleyball team beat the Coppin State Eagles 3-0 (30-24, 30-12, 30-21) at Memorial Hall for the team's Senior Night on Saturday. The Hornets record improves to 8-17 overall and 6-3 in the MEAC.

The Hornets were led by Ayana Dyette and Kinga Muszynski. Dyette led the team in kills with 15 while Muszynski contributed16 digs. Cassandra Joyner was second on the team with 13 kills. Laura Huculak contributed 8 digs. Huculak led the team in assists with 17.

For the Eagles, they were led by Indira Laurencin with 12 kills and Danyel Davis with 9 digs.

The seniors who were honored this evening were Dyette, Huculak, Muszynski and Marissa Brady. Joyner's parents as well as freshman Princess Puckett's parents were also there to support their daughters.

The final home game of the season will be played on Thursday, Nov. 8 against Morgan State. The game will begin at 7:00 p.m.
