Delaware State Women’s basketball is thrilled to welcome Kaziah to the staff as our program’s Graduate Assistant of Creative Content. Kaziah comes to Delaware State from Lincoln University where she was a member of the Women’s Basketball team and graduate with a degree in Health Science.
“We are extremely excited to welcome Kaziah to our staff here at Delaware State University. As a recent graduate and former student-athlete at Lincoln University, Kaziah brings a fresh perspective, creativity, and an understanding of what resonates with today's generation of student-athletes.
What excites me most about Kaziah is her ability to bring new ideas and a different lens to how we tell our story, connect with our audience, and showcase the personalities within our program. She understands what this generation wants to see, experience, and be part of because she was just in their shoes.
Kaziah is a self-starter who is curious, hardworking, diligent, and eager to learn. She takes initiative, embraces challenges, and isn't afraid to think outside the box. Those qualities, combined with her experience as a student-athlete, make her a valuable addition to our staff.
As we continue building our identity at Delaware State, we want to be intentional about how we represent our program, both on and off the court. Kaziah will play an important role in bringing that vision to life through creative storytelling, digital content, and player development.
I'm equally excited about what she will contribute to our program and how she will continue to grow professionally. We believe in investing in people, giving them opportunities to lead, and allowing their talents to be unleashed. Kaziah embodies that spirit, and we're thrilled to have her as part of the Hornet family.”
Kaziah is pursuing a master’s here at Delaware State University in Social Work.
