Bill Yanowsky

Bill Yanowsky was appointed as Delaware State’s director of sports medicine in July 2006 after serving the previous seven years at San Jose State University. He was an assistant athletic trainer at San Jose State until being appointed as Associate Head Athletic Trainer in 2002. In 1999, Yanowsky was Head Athletic trainer for NFL Europe’s Barcelona Dragons. From 1997 to ’98, he was Head Athletic Trainer for the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks, the American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL Anaheim Mighty Ducks. Yanowksy was an intern for the Anaheim Mighty Ducks from 1996 to ’98. He earned a master’s in kinesiology from San Jose State in 1999 and a bachelor’s in physical education from the school in 1993. Yanowsky was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at San Jose State from 1994 to ’96.
