The former Delaware State University standout is in her first season as an assistant coach with the Hornets.
A four-year letterwinner, she posted an average of more than 185 during his collegiate career.
Bower was an All-MEAC Second Team selection after averaging 186.8 during her sophomore season in 2010-11.
As a freshman in 2009-10, Bower rolled a career-high 269 in a MEAC North match. That season she averaged 184.4 to help lead the Hornets to their second straight MEAC championship and NCAA Tournament appearance. DSU posted a 44-14 overall record and a 15-0 mark in MEAC matches, in addition to being nationally ranked throughout the season during the 2009-10 campaign.
She was third on the Hornets with a career-best average of 187.1 as a senior in 2012-13. She had a high-game of 264 during her senior year.
Bower helped lead Cedar Cliff High School (Pa.) to two state tournament appearances. She rolled a 297 in a state tournament match, tops among all competitors. Bower had one 300-game and 800-series to her credit during her scholastic career. She also rolled 298 in a scholastic contest and helped lead school's swim team to Mid-Penn championship.
Bower's hobbies include sprint car racing. She is recognized as first female to set one-lap speed record. Her father competed in PBA and for Team USA, and is a member of National Bowling Hall of Fame, and owner of three Pennsylvania bowling centers.
Bower received a bachelor's in business administration from Delaware State University in May 2013.
