Brian Florek has been coaching Shot Put, Discus, and Javelin Throwing camps, clinics, and personal lessons, every year since 2008 for many throwing organizations, including “Power, Technique & Emotion,” and “Thrower’s World.”

Prior to coaching the Throwing Events at DSU Florek coached 5 years of High School Javelin, Shot Put, and Discus.

Brian Florek was a D1 Conference Champion and four time NCAA Regional Qualifier for Kent State University. He  graduated from there with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education K-12 in 2013.

Florek is from Old Bridge, NJ and was the Old Bridge High School 2007 & 2008 Undefeated Javelin State Champion.
