FELTON, DEL. - Delaware State equestrian fell to the University of South Carolina Gamecocks 14-4 at a home meet on Saturday.

In the Jumping Seat competition, Olivia Brown, riding "Tillie," earned the lone Hornets' point with an 86 in Fences. South Carolina edged out Delaware State 9-1 overall in Jumping Seat.

Although the Gamecocks won the Western rides 5-3, the Hornets and Gamecocks tied 2-2 in Reigning. With a score of 69.5, Bailey Henderson earned a point in Reigning aboard "Finn." Aniela Cortina also earned a point with a score of 71 aboard "Waldo."

Claire Andrews narrowly beat South Carolina's Tierney Horton in Horsemanship for the lone Delaware State point. Aboard "Simon," Andrews had a score of 73.5 to Horton's 73.
