FELTON, DEL. - Delaware State equestrian had a tough outing on Friday, suffering a 15-4 loss to the Texas A&M University Aggies.
Olivia Brown earned both Delaware State points in Jumping Seat. She was named Most Outstanding Performer in Fences with a score of 87 while riding "Cooper." This was over double the score of her opponent. For Flat, Brown, aboard "Finnagan," had a score of 81.
On the Western rides, the Hornets and Aggies both put up a close contest. Although Delaware State earned one point each in Horsemanship and Reigning, their losses were by slim margins. Kirsten Buckwalter won with "Simon" in Horsemanship with a 73. Estella Estus' 68.5 gave her a point in Reigning. Cambrey Hedges and Texas A&M's Mattie Gustin tied with 71.5 points in Reigning.

Delaware State will begin one of two back-to-back meets, beginning on Friday, Nov. 15 at 9 a.m. They will host the University of Tennessee at Martin Skyhawks.
