Dover, Del. (Mar. 11. 2023) --- Three Delaware State equestrian riders have been honored by the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) for their performances during the month of February. DSU's Victoria Croston (jr.; Portsmouth, R.I.) has been recognized in the Dual Discipline category as the ECAC Fences Rider of the Month. Croston won each of her points on the road. She rode against a 0 vs. Minnesota Crookston and defeated her South Dakota State opponent by four points.
Delaware State's Alexis Grogan (sr.; Hackettstown, N.J.) is the ECAC Horsemanship February Rider of the Month. Grogan won both her matches on the road, vs. South Dakota State by nine points and her Minnesota Crookston opponent by two points.
The ECAC has also recognized Hornet senior Anastacia Brugger (McCool Junction, Neb.) as its February Reining Rider of the Month. Brugger bested her Minnesota Crookston who zeroed and then outrode her South Dakota State opponent by 2.5 pts.
