DEPTFORD, N.J. --- The Delaware State bowling team opened up the second semester of tournaments at the Northeast Classic hosted by Sacred Heart University.

As a team, the Hornets placed 22nd out of a 33-team field after claiming wins over University of Wisconsin Whitewater, Wilmington University and Youngstown State University.

Delaware State was led by
Emily Breidegam,
Emily Garl and
Skylar Tenan who all finished in the top-half of the individual field.

Breidegam totaled 976 pins for an average of 195.20 pins per game with her personal high coming in game two where she bowled 240.

Tenan recorded 908 total pins for an average of 181.60 pins per game while Garl notched 904 total pins for an average of 180.80 pins per game.

Delaware State returns to action the first weekend of February for the Griffin Baker Classic hosted by Chestnut Hill College.
