Sydney Reardon were named to the All-Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Preseason Team as announced by the league earlier today.

Reardon the reigning MEAC Rookie of the Year, and Nassberg, a one-time MEAC Bowler of the Week were both named to the National Ten Pin Coaches Association (NTCA) All-Region team last year.

Nassberg, in 662 total frames, recorded an average of 20.29 per frame while also notching a strike 50.8% of the time druing her sophomore season. Reardon averaged 197.26 pins in traditional play during her freshman year. She also recorded a frame average of 19.72 and hit at least nine pins on the first ball nearly 70% of the time in the 282 traditional frames she bowled. During baker play, Reardon recorded a 20.1 pins-per-frame average knocking down 8.93 pins on her first ball. She tallied 392 total strikes in 806 total frames bowled last season.

As a team, the Hornets were predicted to finish third in the MEAC receiving one first place vote. Delaware State opens the 2022-23 season next Saturday, October 8 at the Bud Whitman Classic hosted by Chestnut Hill College.
