Dover, Del. (Sep. 29, 2022) --- Three Delaware State equestrian riders have been honored by the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) for their  performances last week. 
DSU's Megan Windborne was selected as ECAC Fences Rider of the Week after earning Most Outstanding Performer honors in a victory against South Carolina on Sep. 23. with a score ofn 87 aboard "Cici." She was also a winner against Minnesota Crookston on Sep. 24 with a Fences score of 76 on "Tillie" to finish 2-0 in the event for the weekend. 
Delaware State's Kersten Zehner has been honored with a ECAC's weekly Horsemanship award. Zehner was selected as Horsemanship MOP with a score of 78 in the Hornets' win over Minnesota Crookston, and posted a win against #10 South Carolina with a a score of 71.
Hornet Reiner Aidan Stetzer is also an ECAC weekly honoree. Stetzer earned Delaware State's lone Reining point vs. #10 South Carolina on Sep. 23.. She was also MOP in the event with a score of 78 against Minnesota Crookston.
