Dover, Del. (Apr. 13, 2022) --- Morgan State's Anaya Hunte retired all 21 hitters she faced, 16 by strikeout, for a perfect game in the Bears 6-0 MEAC victory over Delaware State today.
Just five Hornets put the ball in play against Hunte, who struck the first 10 Delaware State batters, and fanned the side in first, second, third and sixth innings.
Mia Ewell led Morgan State's 11-hit attack with two singles, a double and two RBI in four at bats.
Madison Bolyea had a two-run pinch single in Morgan's four-run sixth inning.
Delaware State starter Sydney Hoffman allowed eight hits and four runs to suffer the loss.
The Hornets return to action with a three-game series at Coppin State this Friday and Saturday.
