DOVER, Del. --- The Delaware State softball team fell to the Siena Saints 23-2 at home on Thursday.

Jaelyn Baker launched her second home run of the season over the center field wall in the bottom of the third inning. Her two-RBI homer accounted for the only runs the Hornets scored on the afternoon.

The Saints were led by senior pitcher Ava Fitzmaurice who was a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate and tallied her fifth win in circle.

Delaware State returns to Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) action this weekend with a three-game series with South Carolina State. First pitch is scheduled for 12 p.m.
