Dover, Del. (Dec. 7, 2022) --- Three members of the Delaware State equestrian team have been honored by the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) for their performances in the month of November.
DSU's Â
Victoria Croston is the ECAC Flat Rider of the Month. Croston finished November 2-1-1 for the month & 6-1-1 overall for the fall semester. Her performances include an MOP against Lynchburg, winning 89-78.
Casey Johnson was selected as the Horsemanship Rider of the Month. Johnson competed three times in November and won two of her points, with one of those wins earning her the MOP on the road at SMU against UC Davis. Casey's MOP was a 76 besting her UCD opponent by 3.5 points. Her second win for the month was at home against #4 ranked UGA beating her opponent by 1.5 points. Both Casey's points helped her team win meets against higher ranked schools and helped earn DSU a spot in the top ten.
Delaware State's Â
Aidan Stetzer is the Reigning Rider of the Month. Stetzer won two out of three points for DSU during November. Her loss to Dani Latimer away to #1 SMU was by half a point. Aidan's second notable win was at home against #4 ranked UGA beating Caitlyn Lyons by half a point 66 v 65.5. Like her teammate
