WAYNESBORO, Pa. --- The Delaware State women's bowling team competed in the Mount Shootout hosted by Mount St. Mary's at Sunshine Lanes in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania over the weekend.

As a team, the Hornets finished in second place with a weekend record of 8-2.

Individually, Delaware State was led by the individual finishes of
Saralyne Nassberg,
Alyssa Breidegam and
Sydney Reardon.

Nassberg claimed her first top-five finish of the season after placing fifth overall. She totaled 962 pins knocking down 192.40 per game. She was named to the All-Tournament Team for her fifth place finish.

Breidegam ended her weekend in sixth place after recording 961 pins for an average of 192.20 pins per game. Reardon added the Hornets' third top-10 finish as she placed eight in the tournament having totaled 924 pins notching 184.80 pins per game.

Delaware State will return to action the first weekend of November when the Hornets travel to Sam Houston State for the Tracks Kat Klash.
