WINBORNE, CROSTON SHINE IN LOSS TO MUSTANGS

Dover, Del. (Jan. 29, 2022) --- Megan Winborne (fr.) and Victoria Croston (so.) provided the only points for Delaware State with Most Outstanding Performer efforts in the Hornets' 16-2 loss to No. 6 SMU in Dallas, Tex., today.
The Mustangs were 8-2 winners in the Jumping Seat competition and swept the eight Western rides to defeat the No.7 Hornets for the second time this season.
Winborne, riding in her home state of Texas, topped all Fences riders with a score of 81 aboard "Hamilton" to earn MOP honors in the event.
Croston garnered her fourth MOP award of the season with a score of 77 on "Bravo" to earn a point on the Flat for the Hornets.
Croston previously collected two MOPs vs. Sacred Heart and one in a match against Cal Davis this season.
