Dover, Del. (Mar. 5, 2020) --- The Delaware State equestrian team will face a stiff test in its first competition since returning to the national top 10. The 10^th ranked Hornets will host No. 4 South Carolina on Fri. (Mar. 6) at the Dovington Training Center in Felton. DSU will honor its 2019-20 seniors prior to the 9:30 a.m. contest.
Delaware State climbed to No. 10 in the latest Farnam rankings after an 8-7 victory over Tennessee Martin in its last outing on Feb. 29.
South Carolina is coming off a 13-5 loss to No. 1 Auburn last Saturday.
The Hornets are 2-8 all-time vs. South Carolina. They last defeated the Gamecocks 10-6 at the State Fairgrounds in Harrington on Mar. 4, 2016
